The serial number does not belong to a known product - solution
When attempting to activate a serial number belonging to one of our libraries through Native Access, it's possible that you run into an error message stating that your serial cannot be activated and that you should contact Native Instrimens' Support Service. Below we will walk you through the steps necessary for you to get rid of this error and use your library to its fullest:
1. Quit Native Access.
2. Depending on your OS of choice:
- If you are runnming a PC, delete the following files (if you see any of them) :
"C:Program FilesCommon FilesNative InstrumentsService CenterNativeAccess.xml"
"C:Program FilesCommon FilesNative InstrumentsService Center[LIBRARY NAME].xml"
"C:Program FilesNative InstrumentsService CenterNativeAccess.xml"
"C:Program FilesNative InstrumentsService Center[LIBRARY NAME].xml"
- If you are working on MacOS, here's what you need to remove:
"/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Service Center/NativeAccess.xml"
"/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Service Center/[LIBRARY NAME].xml"
"/Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.[LIBRARY NAME].plist"
3. Restart Native Access and add the serial again.
