Performance Patches - Realistic sounding results within seconds!

Something our entire choral range excels at is accessibility and getting realistic sounding choir lines within seconds. With our unique performance patches we managed to push this feature to another level. Performance Patches allow you to mockup your choir lines on the fly due to custom edits of the recordings to make them extremely playable, while maintaining their organic and raw tone.

Choose between different mappings of the different choral sections to increase the playability even further and fit the outcome to the needs of your track. We built this patch, so it allows you to choose between playing the choir pre-arranged in octaves, divided into separate sections or with the natural overlapping ranges in mind.

Our Velocity Dynamic Influencer allows you to determine the loudness of single chord notes by velocity, which makes highlighting certain notes within a chord easier than ever, while Modwheel CC1 still controls crossfading between the natural dynamic layers. The combination of both greatly enhances the expression you can get out of a regular keyboard performance.

The most fluid Polyphonic True Legato

Like our other libraries, Choir Essentials also has true legato patches that can be played polyphonically without issues and without complicated extra requirements - you just play the music you have in your head and you don't need to worry about anything else. Our intelligent voice leading enables polyphonic writing within just one patch. In other words: Hold down a chord with your left hand, play a melody with your right hand and have it all connected with legato transitions. This powerful feature is controllable by the most common of all midi cc controllers, the sustain pedal.

Percussion Essentials X3M brings together the highlights of our X3M Percussion Series, which was created during the last 10 years. This collection is the perfect entry point for new composers and producers starting out as well as veterans, who want to extend their scoring palette or need an easy to use percussion scoring tool. Featuring three mic positions recorded in an ambient concert hall. A "ready to go" tool for all situations.

The X3M Percussion Engine

The concept behind this engine is fairly simple – the keyboard range is divided into 12 zones that you are able to assign different sounds to. After creating a template of your choosing just plug in and play – nothing else needed!

In addition to that the engine also allows you to tweak individual zones, as well as the whole mapped ensemble patch with various effects and mic positions. Combining these with the natural and organic recordings you have maximum flexibility when it comes to sound.

Once you load up the X3M Ensemble Builder you automatically load all samples inside the “Samples” directory. However, the instrument is built in such a way that it actually keeps all samples purged, unless you load them up into a zone. This means that not only do you have a single patch with all types of percussion you might need, but it is also optimized and doesn't hurt your RAM ressources in any way!

The recently updated X3M Engine also features Round Robin Selection as well as Stereo Spread control for each microphone position and a Microphone Align feature to control the tightness between the different microphones.

The concept behind LIGHTNING X3M is not only to introduce different types of high frequency percussion, but also to create unique instrument combinations, similar to our previous percussion series, as well as some new sounds and effects. From clocks, shakers, pencils, hurdy gurdy, electronic drums, guitars, accordions and many more we sampled everything in a way which is perfect for adding  tension and speed to your music.

Our main idea was to record a number of high frequency percussion instruments, suitable for all kinds of dynamic music and especially film/trailer. The library has multiple dynamic levels (from very soft ppp to blasting ffff) and has multiple round-robins (meaning that each instrument has unique samples that get changed every time you press a key).

With String Contours you can change the notes of the performance across the contour of the selected shape. The scripting intelligently adds releases and contextually recorded attacks between the notes based on where and how the note change happens during the bow, leading to smooth transitions along the recorded shapes.

The recordings were all done to a consistent performance style within the range of the instrument and between the sections, so that when combined, you reach a feeling of singular intent of performance and united phrasing across the lines of your arrangement.
